More than 200 participants, 33 Sponsors, and over a dozen volunteers participated in the CenterPoint Legal Solutions TopGolf Charity Event held on May 15, 2019, in Minneapolis, MN. The event raised more than $20,000 dollars for Elite Meet and Naked Warrior Project, two military charities active within our veteran communities.
“We are extremely grateful for the generosity of every sponsor, donor, and volunteer. Donations are the lifeblood of both Naked Warrior Project and Elite Meet,” says Adam Parks, Board Member of Naked Warrior Project and CMO of Plaza Services. “Our veteran communities will benefit from the incredible financial contributions made by those in attendance. We are truly astonished and appreciative of the incredible kindness shown by our industry colleagues.”
Naked Warrior Project is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) foundation that memorializes the courageous sacrifice of our fallen heroes and supports their families. Elite Meet Inc. is a 501(c)(3), national, non-profit charitable organization that connects elite veterans with high-quality employment opportunities after they enter the civilian world.
“The work that both of these charities do within our military and veteran communities is extremely meaningful. CenterPoint Legal Solutions actively supports our US military and was proud to host the event to support these two amazing organizations,” says Aaron Rose, President of CenterPoint Legal Solutions. “We extend our deepest thanks directly to John Allen, CEO and Co-Founder of Elite Meet, who flew to Minneapolis to attend the event. Our attendees were honored to spend time with him, inspired by the knowledge gained from his years as a Navy SEAL, and eager to learn more about the incredible work that Elite Meet is doing to enrich the lives of our elite US military veterans.”
The CenterPoint TopGolf Charity Event was held at TopGolf Minneapolis and included tournament play, dinner, and silent auctions. With so many participants, the event was a sold-out success. The evening included addresses by Aaron Rose, President of CenterPoint Legal Solutions, Kacey Rask, VP of Sales and Marketing of CenterPoint Legal Solutions, Adam Parks, CMO of Plaza Services, and John Allen, CEO and Co-Founder of Elite Meet. Participants of the event engaged in over two hours of tournament play that included chances to “Beat the Pro” and win $10,000 by making a Hole In One. A silent auction was held with 100% of all proceeds from all auction items and tournament games going directly to the two charities.
Tournament notables include Frontline Asset Strategies, FAST, who earned the title of Tournament Champion by winning the evening’s TopGolf Tournament play. Also to be noted is Mike Colby, Business Development Director of Second Round and Board Member of Receivables Management Association International (RMAI), winner of the “Shoot with a SEAL” weekend which includes the opportunity to learn firearms safety and tactics from one of our Nation’s finest.
